Staff and Educational Specialist Positions

When there are full-time vacancies in the CAPS Outreach Center, they will be posted on UT’s Human Resources website.
Most of the time these vacancies will also be posted in the Knoxville News Sentinel newspaper.
These positions require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus experience.
These positions will require that a cover letter and an application be sent to our office at:

From September till May of each school year we hire individuals to work as instructors/tutors in: math, science, English, ACT prep, computer science, Spanish, and French. These positions are part time with no benefits and they also require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

During the summer, we hire instructors to work up to 30 hours per week during the four-week residential component in the subjects listed in the previous paragraph. We will additionally hire six resident assistants each summer to live in the dorm and participate in evening activities with our students. These positions require someone who is a junior in college and is not taking classes during the summer.
